He loves writing fictions. His favourite theme being science fiction coupled with ancient histories and legends. This interest in him comes from his deep interest in the past ancient culture, history as well as science. Over the years, he developed interest in ancient aliens, historical fantasy and space travel. You would find a unique theme running across his books in similar lines. Sambit’s debut science fiction book, ‘The Last War & Other Stories’ is a best seller trending on Amazon. He has also written several short or flash fictions and is co-authoring in a poetry book ‘The Soul Hymns’, being published by The ‘Creative Circle Official’ which is a dedicated group of authors and artists. Sambit is currently working on his next book that would take his readers further back in India’s glorious ancient past. His writing interest started from a young age. He would love to see his science articles along with his art work, put up in the class room notice boards. As a child, he used to maintain diaries containing his writings and interesting news and facts in his own unique style in line with how they are presented in printed magazines. Though he kept writing suspense, thriller genre stories since childhood, his first science fiction story was published in the annual Durga Puja Souvenir by his uncle Mr. A. K. Hazra in Nagpur, India. Sambit has received the following awards and recognition in the world of literature. Inspiring Indians 2022 Awardee by ne8x Official on Republic Day of 2022. Opus Talent Award in May 2021 for being the best writer in the year 2021. Book Honour in Apr 2021 & April 2022 by ne8x Official for recognition for literary work and contributions on the World Book Day 23rd April 2021 & 2022. He started painting since childhood and won many prizes in painting competitions. Sambit loves painting animals and nature. Recently he also painted on themes around science fiction and mythology. He usually does fine art and sketches. Sambit is an Electronics Engineer from Nagpur University and a Post Graduate in Business Management from Symbiosis, Pune, India. He is an IT software professional.
